Fashion weeks being distilled in Singapore
Styles from fashion weeks in London, Milan, New York and Paris will be in the spotlight in Singapore from September 8 to October 5.
Each city will have its own week on the Front Row calendar at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. There will also be special in-store events including personal styling sessions.
Front Row Stage 1 on the skating rink will be the epicenter of the promotion, with a launch event by invitation only on September 8.
More than 70 luxury and premium brands such as 3.1 Phillip Lim, Anne Fontaine, Bally, Boss, Boggi Milano, Braun Buffel, Burberry, Coach, Diane von Furstenberg, Ermenegildo Zegna, Kwanpen, Longines, Michael Kors, Mikimoto, Moschino, Repetto, Uomo Collezioni and Versace will run events with exclusive offers throughout the month, on the main stage or within their boutiques at The Shoppes.
Chance to buy
Hosted by Burberry, the opening party will offer 200 guests a chance to buy the brand’s latest pieces straight off the runway from its London Fashion Week debut. There will also be a craftsmanship demonstration at the Burberry boutique.
Tom Ford will be presenting his latest collection from New York, with a selection of items available for purchase at The Shoppes on the same day, while Coach will have a pop-up booth outside its boutique previewing its latest collection and taking orders.
During the event, Diane von Furstenberg, Moschino, Repetto and Uomo Collezioni will offer shoppers discounts of up to 15 per cent, while Anne Fontaine and Ermenegildo Zegna are offering a welcome champagne in-store. Ermenegildo Zegna is also offering complimentary personal consultation services.
Sands Rewards LifeStyle members who spend a minimum of S$2000 (US$1467) during the month will receive a S$100 Shoppes voucher or complimentary three-hour personal shopping service worth S$250.
At the Front Row Boulevard, between Chanel and Gucci on level one, shoppers can take part in a virtual-reality experience, uncovering hidden gems, and receive style tips from TV personality Anita Kapoor.
Each week, the boulevard will be transformed with such features as a Penhaligon’s Scent Bar
during London Week, and a tailoring showcase by Ermenegildo Zegna during Milan Week.
