Singapore to have Kohler International concept store
Kitchen and bath products designer/manufacturer Kohler International plans to open stores in Bangkok, Hong Kong, New Delhi, Shanghai, Singapore and Taipei this year.
It is part of an international roll-up of its new retail concept the Kohler Experience Center (KEC), which will have a flagship store in Manhattan.
Kohler president/CEO David Kohler says the new outlets will provide a deeper immersion into its product offerings for trade professionals, who will be able to source products for any project, “wherever it may be in the world”.
Its New York City flagship, covering 10,000 sqft (929 sqm) will be the only private bathing space in the city where guests can exclusively experience Kohler’s offering of products such as Real Rain, the DTV+ digital showering system, VibrAcoustic hydrotherapy, and a range of showerheads and intelligent toilets.
To best serve design professionals, KEC will also offer a new Kohler global specification service, allowing architects and designers working on international projects to have instant, hands-on access to the company’s entire range.
Experts will be able to help source and resolve complex plumbing projects around the world. Videoconferencing will also be available.
