Forcast ramps up Singapore presence
Online fashion retailer Forcast has opened its own direct-to-consumer website in Singapore, following an earlier launch on Zalora Singapore.
The Australian company has opened a logistics centre in Singapore, allowing for faster, cheaper and easier shipping to the local market. Forcast has also increased its marketing presence throughout the region.
“As the customer base grows within the local market, we will set our sights on establishing a presence on the Zalora regional site,” the company said in a statement.
“The launch of Forcast on Zalora… undoubtedly unlocked a desire for access to more garments from the Southeast Asian fashion community.”
Forcast focuses on quality garments appealing to “the modern woman” globally. It also specialises in smaller sizes, from 4 to 12, which it says suits petite Asian women.
“Forcast.sg will be stocking a larger range of Forcast favourites from dresses, pants, blouses and pencil skirts that can be easily incorporated into any wardrobe,” the company said.
