JD Sports Singapore launches third store

JD Sports Singapore opens its third store at Funan, with its first-of-its-kind ‘King of Trainers’ mobile game.

Spanning 2788sqft, the store offers a range of 20 brands covering footwear, men’s apparel, and accessories, including Nike, Adidas, Fila, Puma and Champion, along with home brands McKenzie, and Supply and Demand.

The Funan store also makes shopping more “convenient and highly-efficient” with its ‘live-feed’ monitors around the store, providing customers with an up-to-the-minute updates from the storeroom on the availability and waiting time of requested items.

As well as shopping, customers can explore JD’s first mobile game ‘King of Trainers: The Game’.

As part of its offline-online retail strategy, the game application is designed to engage and reward its customers, and is now available in Singapore and Malaysia. 

“The game is part of the ongoing commitment and innovation of the brand towards an integrated online-offline consumer experience,” said Jaclyn Tan, head of brand & marketing, SEA at JD Sports.

“It is a way for us to connect with our customers – both the millennials and millennial-minded – outside of our brick-and-mortar stores, yet reward them with exclusive rewards redeemable at our stores and online.”
